HOW DOES THE PANEL WORK?
When cannabis product designers, service providers, retailers or even journalists need to get the opinions of industry experts, they work with research organizations, like the Parabella, to survey a group of relevant people. Depending on the type of information needed, a few or a few hundred people may be asked to take a survey. Those who have been chosen were selected because their respondent profile matched the criteria of the study. For example, a study may need respondents who work in Washington at a MIPs facility. For this reason, the integrity and honesty of the panelists is critical. The screening process and responses are closely watched, in the interest of the data.
WHO CAN BE A PANELIST?
Anyone who works in the Cannabis Industry, who resides in the United States and who is least 21 years old, may join the panel. The panelist are held to a code of conduct. Please review the Member Agreement for further details. If you consume cannabis recreationally or for medical purposes, and would rather provide your opinion from the consumer's perspective, then please join CannabisConsumerPanel.com.
DOES IT COST MONEY TO JOIN?
HOW DO I GET PICKED FOR A SURVEY?
We pair what the client needs with your profile. Not all panelists will be invited to take all surveys.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO BE ASKED?
The survey questions may focus on why you use certain products or services in your facility, how you feel about them, or your willingness to try a new product or service. Questions typically are about your opinions, beliefs or attitudes about something that effects the cannabis industry.
DO I GET COMPENSATED?
Depending on the client, you may be compensated with gift cards or cash. Not all online surveys offer compensation, but phone interviews are typically compensated. If you have been invited to take a survey, the invitation email will indicate the amount and type of compensation. In order to be paid, the survey must be filled out completely.
WILL I BE TAXED ON THIS COMPENSATION?
If you receive more than $600 USD in a calendar year, we are required to report that income to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Please consult your tax adviser for specific tax questions.
